About Paola

I love children! When I was about 10 years old, my mother had a daycare at home. Being a home-schooled child, after I finished my school work (my mom was very strict about schooling), I would help my mom with the kids. She would let me feed the babies, play with the toddlers, and read to the 4-year-olds. It was so much fun! So when I found out at 14 that my youth pastor needed a babysitter for his 4 year daughter, I wasted no time to volunteer. Since then he has had 2 more girls and a boy, who are now 12, 6, 5, and 3 months. I also did children's church (which is basically an educational day care during church services), nursery for church, and participated in many sports camps during the summer. I love working with children because they are one of the few groups of people that know how to genuinely appreciate your presence. They are great!
