I have struggled with writing this recommendation because words can't convey just how much Patricia "Patsy" means to our family. Patsy was initially hired to care for my 90 year old mother who had suffered a severe stroke but she also took over caring for my father as his health declined. As an aside, my father, who was a proud and stubborn man, was initially against hiring anyone, assuring everyone that he could handle everything. That didn't last for long! Soon he was greeting Patsy every morning so they could chat and she became his best friend. The care Patsy provided also went far beyond what you would consider normal caregiver duties. My mother was pampered like she had never been in her life and Patsy would also help my dad with his "household projects" that he loved doing. Patsy not only cared for my parents but provided emotional support for me and my sister for over four years until their deaths, just six months apart. We are very fortunate to have had her in our lives.
