I like to make a person's life as enjoyable as possible. I love children. I prefer to take care of 2 at a time for more quality care. I have taken care of 72-year-old woman, a cancer patient, in her last 10 days of life. She was my friend's mother. She didn't want hospice to take care of her. She chose to be taken care of by her daughter and myself. I helped with meal preparation, medications and insulin shots. I also changed bedding, did bathing, cleaning and laundry. I also took on the responsibility to give her medications in her last days. Her family wanted me to take on this responsibility for their mother. I took care of my brother-in-law. He was 62 and in his final stages of cancer, as well. I helped with medications, errands, lifting, feeding and when needed staying with him during hospital stays. I also took care of Mary, who had Alzheimer's for a few days. Her daughter moved her closer to her for her final weeks. I did whatever the families needed.
