About Rachael

One thing you should know about me is childcare is much more than a job for me. I find joy from being able to make a difference in other people lives and always love creating the best possible experience for kids. I started working with kids when I was 13 and received my CPR certification. I volunteered every Sunday in the church child care facilities for about 4 years and continued to babysit and nanny families that I met through the church. At 17 I became a part-time nanny for a family of 3 boys under 6 and was with them for about 2 years until they moved. At 19 I started nannying full-time for two families including a 7-year-old girl, 3-year-old girl, and 6-month-old boy who had a few medical conditions. I still continue to help both families but their kids are all now in school a majority of the time so my time with them is much more limited but they are available for reference checks!
