My name is Kahlan, and I'm so excited to get to work with you/your lovely students My extensive teaching experience spans 10 years, four separate disciplines, and two countries! Here's a bit more detail about my experience: - I was a student myself when I began my teaching career, tutoring college students in Writing and English as a Second Language (ESL) for two years. - I have worked for Applerouth Tutoring Services for a total of about six years, teaching middle and high school students various subjects, including test prep (SAT, ACT, PSAT, and SSAT), reading comprehension, essay writing, study skills, executive functioning, and more. - I also spent three years teaching English to elementary and middle school students in Japan - my favorite teaching job to date!
