About Rachel

Hello! I'm Rachel, I'm currently in my 4th year of teaching and began my teaching career mid-pandemic. I've previously taught 2nd, 4th and 5th grade, and actively teach 6th grade math. I am most familiar with the following curriculum: McGraw Hill Math, McGraw Hill Wonders, and Eureka Math Squared. I've always had a knack for teaching and I love everything that it has given me. I thrive on connections and relationship building right away, and I am creative and patient. I will help guide your child through their struggles, and help them grow as a student. I know first hand the difficulty of common core math and the challenges students face as a result from the curriculum. I am a helper and listener, and I am good at what I do. I truly believe on giving students the tools they need to be successful, and I know right where to start.
