Hi, family. My name is Rachel P, I am a soon-to-be Elementary Teacher studying at Southeastern University. I am looking to support a family while on Summer Break (May until August). For my experience, I have been babysitting since I was 11, grew up with younger siblings, worked in two separate daycares, nannied several times, volunteered internationally serving missionary families, and I have been a middle school camp counselor! I have a passion for kids. You can honestly learn so much from a child's perspective, and in short, they inspire me. Children are to be valued and they should receive the best care available. Rachel is fantastic. She is kind, patient, communicative, imaginative, full of fun, and basically a modern day Mary Poppins. We love her! She sat for us (Boy, 5mo/Girl 3.5 yrs) several times, even once while the kids were sick, and we plan on continuing to use her when she returns from summer break. I also appreciated her bringing things to our attention such as my son's foot looking a little puffier than usual (possible new allergy?). So nice to have someone attentive and thoughtful caring for my kiddos. I highly recommend Rachel. She is absolutely wonderful!
