About Rachel

Hi families! My name is Rachel, and I taught High School English for two years, specifically British Literature, American Literature, and Public Speaking. I am available for part-time tutoring. I specialize in writing and can help your child with essays of any subject, including the dreaded college admissions essay. Additionally, I have taught several art classes (painting, creative expression, and drawing) as well as hold a degree in Fine Arts, and am happy to provide one on one instruction for any budding artist out there! My work has been shown at the Life of Slice Gallary Show and The Congressional Art Competition. I have worked with a variety of students, including those with learning disabilities and those testing notably below grade level. I believe young people thrive when they feel supported, appreciated, and challenged. I am fully vaccinated and boosted, as well as CPR certified. I look forward to helping your child on their road to success!
