About Rachel

I have worked in a certified daycare for the last 5 years. I was a lead classroom teacher working on the Air Force Base, in a classroom of 10 1-year-olds. Here I was in charge of maintaining state and federal standards, planning and writing lesson plans to focus on age appropriate developmental milestones, and creating and executing family days/activities. I spent the last year as a manager of the daycare on the Air Force base, managing 16 classrooms and 150 children between 6 weeks - 5 years in age. Additionally, I am a Washington state certified teacher and maintain current first aid and safety certifications. With the birth of my son, I am ready to return to working in more of an intimate setting where I can provide a high level of care both to my own son as well as to others.
