About Rachel

Hi! I am 24 years old. I graduated Smith College with a bachelor's degree in studio art. I'd describe my personality as playful, energetic, and confident. I like working with kids because I enjoy creating opportunities for kids to connect with nature and the arts. I volunteered at a local living history museum as a camp counselor. This position gave me the opportunity to do things like teaching young girls to quilt and taking kids bug-catching. I started working with kids when my neighbor's children were growing up. I would pick them up from school, help them with homework, feed them dinner, give them drawing lessons, and whatever else was needed. In my spare time, I like to play guitar, work on embroidery, play video games, go on hikes and birdwatch.
