I am warm, loving, active, responsible mother of two (ages 5 and 2) with 12 years of experience as a career nanny. Having two children of my own, I understand the importance of exceptional care and communication. I have cared for newborns to age 10 and I have loved every stage!

Becca L. is the nanny parents wish for. She is wonderful with my son, very knowledgeable, and extremely hardworking. She always goes above and beyond. Let me assure you that you would be hard-pressed to find a better person to watch your children. In the 1 years I've known Becca, she has truly become a part of the family. I cannot say enough positive things about her and what she has come to mean to us. She and I have become friends; my son adores her, and she him. She treats him as if he were her own and shares a very special bond with him. We've even had playdates with her kids on her days off. Becca is very easy to talk to. She is also very thoughtful, remembering important dates, helping E. make gifts/cards, and bringing her own for us. Knowing how important it is to me to have pictures and a summary of the day, Becca created a wonderful daily log with space for anecdotes as well as basics, and she often sends me pictures while I' m at work. Becca started when my son was not quite 3 months old and has reliably been here at least four days a week since. She does her best to stay late and/or come extra days when needed. Becca does so much more than the basics. She is the most efficient person. I simply cannot understand how she gets so much done while playing with, and caring for, my son. She does his laundry, keeps his spaces clean and organized, cooks his meals, does light housekeeping, and helps in countless other ways. She could not be any more attentive to my son's needs, and keeps him engaged and active. She does arts and crafts with him, invents games to help him learn whatever skills he is currently working on, makes everyday things special, gets him outside daily weather permitting, and takes him on special adventures. Of Becca's strengths and there are many her greatest is her calm nurturing manner. In my head, I often think of her as the child whisperer. She is very in-tune with my son and his needs/various moods. Recently my independent son has begun having temper tantrums and Becca is teaching him to calm himself by focusing on his breathing What a life skill! She is extremely knowledgeable about child psychology and childhood education, as well as nutrition. She teaches and redirects him in a way that he doesn't even realize it is happening. She even has my not-quite 19-month old trained to clean up after himself! I am beyond saddened to be losing Becca as my son's nanny. Believe me, it has absolutely nothing to do with her. Unfortunately, as a single mother, I can no longer afford her and need to put my son in daycare. I am, however, confident that she will always be a part of our lives. I highly recommend Becca. Her warm caring nature, attentive care, hardworking work ethic, and inviting personality make her the ideal nanny. I know your children would love her as much as my son does, and that you would never be disappointed in her work. Please do not hesitate to contact me by phone or email if you'd like any additional information. I have nothing but positive things to share! Sincerely, Sarah B.
