Hi, my name is Remy and I'm a tutor & teacher in NYC. I have tutored for over 10 families, taught a homeschooled student full time, and I'm a certified substitute teacher. I have my B. S. in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan and M. S. in Design Engineering from Northwestern University. My personal teaching philosophy is that a student's approach to learning can be transformed by instilling them with confidence and excitement. It is critical to first assess how a student learns best to find the best tools for teaching. My goal is to implement an organized routine and to help the student build critical thinking skills rather than rote memorization.
