Hello, families! As a current college student majoring in psychology, I have a true passion for nurturing the growth and development of children, particularly those with special needs. With two years of experience as a long-term substitute teacher for fourth graders in Norfolk Public Schools, I've gained valuable hands-on experience in a childcare setting. My patient and calm nature, coupled with my creativity and friendliness, allows me to connect with children on a meaningful level. I believe in open and honest communication with parents, and I strive to keep them informed about their child's day and any matters that arise. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and structured environment for the children in my care. When it comes to playtime, I love engaging kids in outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games that stimulate their minds. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children of various age groups, from infants to preteens.
