About Rian

About me: Hi there my name is Rian, I am currently a BSW undergraduate student at the University of Utah. I hope to one day be a child therapist. I have a loving and playful teaching style that emphasizes the child's independence and personal growth. My interests include, jewelry crafting, perfume making, hiking, biking, martial arts, tie dye, songwriting, painting, acting, and costuming. I am CPR certified, have a car and a license, and like to do lots of enrichment from teaching and experimenting with different styles of art, to trips to the park, hikes, or Thanksgiving point. I can work with special needs, and have been trained in ABS teaching strategies. I have seven years of childcare experience. I have worked with kids of all ages, and I love and value the experience of every age. I have been a nanny for infants and toddlers, worked as a kindergarten teaching assistant, worked as a high school tutor, and spent a year working at a daycare.
