About Riel

Hi, I'm Riel! As the eldest sibling, care-giving has always been a part of my daily life. I love children and find joy in helping them grow, adapt, and absorb the world around them. My upbringing spans Toronto, Johannesburg, and Los Angeles. In 2019, I graduated from NYU with a BFA in Performance and have since called New York home. As a nanny, I've had the privilege of caring for four amazing kids: Peyton, an 11-year-old girl on the Upper West Side, Will, an 8-year-old boy in Venice, CA, and Stella and Eva, 9 and 11, in Dumbo; while also babysitting for friends and family. I've learned that being a nanny goes beyond providing care; it's about carving out space for children to flourish emotionally, intellectually, and creatively. I pride myself on being a compassionate, nurturing, and engaging nanny, eager to connect with a new family for a lasting working relationship.
