About Rosie

I consider myself to be calm and consistent, compassionate but steady with expectations, engaging, funny, patient, supportive & intelligent. I believe that children are our future. :) I really do. What motivates me to work with children and families is passing on a love of learning. I'm looking for a job that allows me to continue to work with a family and spend time with kids while I am working towards a new degree in early ed and complete my fellowship with Vermont Humanities. Both projects focus on equity through literacy based early education. I started working with kids when I was way too young! Pretty much my whole life. Clearly what I was meant to do. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my daughter, read, hit Boston for some music and art. Or embrace moments when I have nothing to do at all. My skills include all interactions based around -attachment & trust-self advocacy -social skills and problem solving -delay of gratification & calculated risk
