About Ruby

Hello! My name is Ruby. I'm 24 and I'm staying with family in Evanston for the summer while finishing my BA in Psychology remotely and interning at a literary agency. I'm looking for a part time role to fit into my flexible schedule. I have a over 10 years of experience working with children. Before starting university, I was a nanny for two infants and spent a year working in a daycare. I also have experience with older children through my years of babysitting and working at summer camps during high school. I've always loved working with children because it presents so many of opportunities to be creative and joyful. In all of my experience, I've learned so much about how to provide a fun and safe environment and value using creativity and play to create meaningful experiences for children. Above all, though, I've had lots of practice supporting children of all ages with patience and sensitivity as they face challenges and go though difficult emotions.
