For 17 years I owned an in-home child care & preschool, serving families of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. I have decided to go in a different direction at this time, and am looking forward to Nannying! I have NUMEROUS families who are willing to provide references for me. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have had hours of child care training. I was the co-chair of our community home day care group. Prior to owning my day care, I worked for Early Intervention as a Case Worker and Regional Coordinator, helping families of children age newborn to 3 who were developmentally delayed.

Ruth cared for our daughter in her daycare from 2017-2019 (age 1.5-3). I interviewed a number of care providers at the time and Ruth was our number one choice. She is caring, thoughtful, communicative, and patient. She helped our daughter through a rough transition of a cross-country move and checked in with my often to let me know if she was particularly unhappy and having a tough time or was adjusting and making friends. She shared pictures to ease a nervous mama's mind and really helped integrate our daughter into her care. To this day, our daughter maintains the friendships that Ruth helped forge in her home and Ruth is a cherished part of our extended family. In spite of not having been in her regular childcare for a year, our daughter still asks to spend time with her and we are thrilled to have Ruth babysit when she can!
