About Sabine

I'd describe my personality as fun, empathetic, and extroverted. I started babysitting at 11 for my neighbors. I didn't know it at the time, but I would go on to nanny for a dozen different families, work as a summer camp counselor, and have a job as a daycare attendant. Every kid I've ever met has taught me life lessons that I carry with me to this day. I love the way kids see the world, and how they move through it with fearlessness, curiosity, and excitement. I believe that our childhood experiences shape us, and I hope to be a small part in creating wonderful memories for my kids. One thing you should know about me is that I treat all kids like equals. I don't use baby talk and I want to make every kid feel like they're taken seriously. This doesn't mean I'm a serious person, rather I believe creating an equal bond with a child leads to more fun! My skills include making little ones feel important, handling big emotions with patience + care, and telling really great stories.
