About Sabrina

Beyond helping raise 3 neurodivergent siblings, I've been a paid nanny in some capacity since I was 15 years old. Over the years, I've taken care of children from ages 1 to 13 years old and up to 3 children at a time. During 2020, I enjoyed being a full-time homeschool "teacher" to a first grader and love making homework more understandable to kids. I love learning languages and feel super comfortable teaching up to a 8th grade level in Spanish. I'd describe my personality as understanding, enthusiastic and content. In my spare time, I love to go to out to eat at new places but I'm also a big home body that really enjoys cooking and hosting a great meal for my friends. My skills include taking the time to explain the reason behind rules or decisions and not just saying "because I said so", communicating to parents concerns about behavior without judgement, and creating a dynamic of being both a friend and mentor to children while setting firm boundaries.
