If I could give her a ten rating I would! Samantha worked for us for aprox. 6 months to take care of my 87 year old father. I was super nervous about hiring someone to come into our home after moving him from a nursing facility. He had dementia, sores and could not get out of bed; taking care of him was not easy. From the moment she started she couldn’t have been more perfect. Samantha was patient, loving & she was always one step ahead of me. Her communication was excellent, she would remind me of needed supplies, taking care of his laundry, dressing him and oral hygiene. I didn’t have to ask her, she would just take the initiative and do whatever was needed. She would prepare the table for the Hospice nurses or cna’s before they would arrive and was ready to help them. She organized supplies, his food, medications and wrote out instructions for new help. Samantha was ready to cook meals and would gladly help him eat. On her days off she would often check in with me to see how he was doing. She took this job very seriously, as she should; I highly recommend her. The night my father passed she came back long after her shift was over, in the middle of the night; just to be there for my family and I. She was my fathers angel on earth. He always smiled when he looked at her and I will never forget her and how kind she was him! Thank you Samantha!
