About Samantha

Hey everyone! I have been taking care of children for 11 years. I started my childcare career while still in high school; I was a first grade intern at a local elementary school and then worked as a toddler teacher at a public daycare the summer of 2007. My first private nanny job was in 2007 for a nice couple who had 2 young children under 1 year apart. My daily duties included meal prep, light housekeeping, playtime, bedtime (periodical overnights), and music classes during the day. In 2010, I started work as a daycare assistant at a home day care, where I took care of children ranging from newborn to 7 years old. All years in-between, I worked as a babysitter part time for multiple different families. From 2012-2016, I worked a full-time job out of industry; while also babysitting on the side. I recently finished my Newborn Care Specialist Certification and am moving on to my Doula degree with a minor in Herbal and Aromatherapy.
