About Sandra

I adore working with elderly people. I am very compassionate and caring. This is my gift. The elderly are special people. I like to help. I am definitely a people helper. In my career as a Physical Therapist I specialized in geriatrics, burns and amputees. In my last 20 years as a PT I worked almost exclusively with the elderly in their home. I sat with an elderly lady for one and a half years recently until she passed. I took her for hair appointments, shopping, did exercising, activities, bathing and made meals. Recently I worked at an assisted living private home with three elderly residents. Duties included cooking, bathing, assist with dressing, light housekeeping and activities. I always spent my break visiting with them. Enjoyed it very much. I love pets and also took care of pets in both these positions. I also take clients to appointments and wait with them. I have been certified in CPR every year whille practicing Physical Therapy. I also have recent background checks.
