About Sara

I'd describe my personality as caring, responsible and outgoing. I'm looking for a job that promotes healthy and trusting relationships between the family and myself. I'm looking for a job that provides a consistent and comfortable environment. I'm also looking to work with with a family who will express their needs and desires as it relates to childcare and their home and also be open to input as it relates to child growth and development and the Montessori method. I started working with kids in 1994 as a nanny during summers. I coached at local gymnastics facilities in the early 2000's. In 2006 I began teaching at a private Montessori school and received my teaching certificate. In 2009 I opened and operated an infant/toddler family childcare program out of my house for 11 years. During this time I also did some tutoring in reading and math for school aged children.
