About Sarah

I've always loved teaching, learning, and helping children/students grow. My first tutoring position was with Dominican's Academic Enrichment Center during my undergraduate years. My aim was always to create a supportive environment and provide tailored advice to enhance students' writing skills! In 2022, I expanded my tutoring to include ESL at Loyola, where I faced the rewarding challenge of teaching English fundamentals to American immigrants . This role honed my skills in patience, pacing, and interactive lesson planning, making the learning process engaging and productive! I also worked as a graduate TA at the College of Lake County 2022 and currently work part-time running an after school program with CPS. I would love to keep tutoring post-graduation!
