About Sarah

Hi. I have a K-9 certified teacher with middle school math endorsements. During college I worked as a tutor primarily assisting college students with writing papers across all subjects. After graduating college I spent one year subbing in Lake County schools including a 4 month maternity leave coverage in 3rd grade. I spent 3 years teaching at an international boarding school in Kenya. The first two years teaching 2nd grade and the 3rd third teaching 6th grade. Upon returning to the States I worked for a Huntington Learning Center as both a tutor and an Assistant Director. Throughout all those years and experiences I've had a variety of private one-on-one tutoring opportunities including an elementary student experiencing long-term sickness, junior high students needing extra support in math, and adults looking for English as a second language support. Each teaching and tutoring job has brought joy to watch others grow.
