About Sarina

I am a college graduate with a B. A. in Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I had experience in my high school's F. I. R. E program (Foothill Intervention, Reinforcement, and Enrichment) where I provided academic and social support to my peers. I also had leadership experience in the school's ASB program. I continued this path in college when I joined the Creative Writing Program Internship and mentored my peers while they worked on their creative projects. I was also a Student Reader, essentially a Teaching Assistant and a student at the same time, where I once again guided my peers and graded their work. There, I held my own office hours so students could ask questions about the content of the class and how to improve their final essays. Lastly, I was a copy editor for City on a Hill Press, where I once again supported fellow students. I have important skills to share, am a confident teacher, and love helping people reach their full potential.
