About Sarina

Hello there! My name is Sarina and I'm a student at UCSD. I'm a human development major with a minor in educational studies. I plan on pursuing a career in elementary education, and absolutely love tutoring children, as I feel it gives me some experience with discovering different learning styles and working with such different personalities. I value education and am comfortable tutoring reading, math, science and social studies, but particularly math and science. While my initial experience tutoring is unpaid, as it consists of tutoring family members from all grades and volunteer-tutoring at low-income public schools, I have, over years of tutoring, covered material from k-12 in addition to having minor experience tutoring special needs students. I just really enjoy working with children and feel that education is such an important aspect to our society, and hope I can contribute any help to make sure your child(ren) get the help they need! :)
