A child is at their impressionable age. Thus, it's important to take careful measure when selecting they that they spend time with. A caregiver that reflects the child's greatest strengths and interests is the ideal fit. Creative activities and spending time in the outdoors are the greatest outlets for a childs growth. Spending time with children during these activities can be as beneficial to a caregiver as it is to them. I like working with kids because they remind me of how simple and exciting the world is. I started working with children at 12 years old, earning 3$/hour. I didn't ask much in return for getting to spend hours having fun, going to the park or hikes, cooking yummy treats, and watching movies or playing pretend. I tend to encourage messes, for it allows an opportunity for us to learn about mistakes and how we can repair them.
