About Savannah

I started working with a family in September of 2022, and took on another family two months later. I have recent experience with children ages one to eight. I've had experience with children younger than one, but not in the two families I've worked with in the past year. I love doing fun and learning activities with the children, and I try to foster independent or creative play. I have found that young children will want some time to play by themselves, but still have someone nearby to engage with on their own terms. There is a time for active play with the children, just like there is a time to let them explore playing by themselves. I frequently try to limit screen-time, most days avoiding it entirely, but situations differ with families. I have worked early mornings, school hours, midday, and late evenings. I've been working with a single family early mornings to midday since the beginning of summer, and I am looking to possibly take on an afternoon or evening job additionally.
