About Serena

Hello! My name is Serena and I am from Chester Springs, PA. I am extremely passionate about health care and currently on the road to becoming a physician. I have had a special place in my heart for caregiving ever since my very first job, at Sunrise Senior Living where I worked on the dementia unit. There, I learned what would become the foundation of my ever growing passion for caring for others. I have experience with catheter care, colostomy bag care, transferring, bed sore/wounds, feeding, and all activities of daily living. Since working at the nursing home, I have worked exclusively in hospitals, where I've cared for varying levels of patients from critical to everyday issues, to inpatient behavioral stays. I look forward to providing as much enrichment as possible for your loved ones, while always keeping in mind their abilities and their passions. I believe providing care with dignity and love is imperative for everyone I care for.
