Hello my name is Shana. I am 55 years old, I am married and have two teenage daughters. We moved over from England in 2015 to care for my elderly father who passed away with leukemia. I am currently sharing the care of my 88 yr mother with my sister. I am a trained nurse by profession in England. I have extensive experience in health care since 1988. I trained as a nurse, midwife & health visitor. I have had experience with elderly dementia patients and their families and have a good understanding of this debilitating condition. I believe that it is important to help people retain their dignity and for the caregiver to maintain a sensitive and holistic approach to their care.
