After graduating college I worked in Americorps in Florida as a reading and writing tutor for elementary students in 1st-3rd grade. I used the Leveled Literacy Intervention system from Fountas and Pinnell during this year. During graduate school at UVA I did a work study program where I again worked with elementary school students. This time I was working with these students with just reading. My experience has been with elementary school but am willing to work with other grade levels as well.
