About Shannon

I know how hard it can be to get everything done. I can provide a friendly visit (with or without my homeschooled son). I can cook, help with appointments, light housekeeping, plant and garden care, pet care, and respite care. I know caretakers need a break and how hard it can be to get one when caring for someone. I am comfortable in a hospice setting and with medications (it's been quite some time since I've given injections, but I'm able to learn) and believe that the time I spend with seniors can make a big difference in their day and I do my best to make that difference as positive as possible! I've cared for 2 parents (mine and my husband's) through hospice and have another parent with memory issues. I adored my grandmothers. They both lost their husbands early in life, so when they started to have care needs, it fell to their kids and I was especially inspired watching my mom care for her mom.
