About Shanyn

Hello! I am currently in my second year of college at Dominican University of California. Along with my studies at Dominican, I am also an athlete. My love for helping and working with kids has encouraged me to pursue a career, as a child and adolescent therapist. Which is, why I am both a psychology and criminology major. Babysitting and working with kids has been a huge part of my life since I was young, starting at age 13. Originally, I am from Minnesota and spent my first year of college in West Virginia. I now attend college in California, and I plan to spend the next 3 years here! I'd describe my personality as extroverted, adventurous, positive, and caring. I like working with kids because their excitement for the world and constant learning brings me joy. I'm looking for a job that can be flexible while setting weekend dates, as I may be gone for athletic games. Also, I am looking for either set hours/days or, if you need someone to look after the kids on date night!
