About Sharlyn

As a caregiver, my passion lies in nurturing the growth and development of children. I am currently an ER Licensed practical nurse and looking to get into peds! I have a background in nannying kids of other nurses who need extra help on days they work or just need simply to get me time or date nights! I am trained in First Aid and certified CPR/NRP. I do work at hospital Fridays & Saturdays so usually am not available as of right now on those days! My patient and calm nature allows me to effectively communicate with children and understand their needs. I follow the parents' preferred communication method to ensure a collaborative partnership in caring for their child. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that promote learning. I am comfortable caring for up to three children and have experience with age groups ranging from 1month- late teens. I am a non-smoker and comfortable with pets!
