About Shaylee

Since the age of 8, I have been passionate about caring for small children. As the second oldest of five children, my caregiving skills started by supervising my younger siblings. By the age of 10, I was accepting baby-sitting opportunities during the evenings. Within the past 10 years, I have gained experience with children through numerous babysitting, nannying for two separate families, and working in a childcare facility on my university's campus while achieving a bachelor's degree in Family Science and Early Childhood. I have a special place in my heart for caring for infants, however my experience ranges up to school-age children as well. Through these job opportunities, I have been successful in attending to the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of these children while creating a nurturing environment. My strengths include multitasking, organization, communication, and most importantly a genuine passion to spend time with children.
