About Shea

Hi! My name is Shea, and I am a fourth year at Ohio State. I started to care for children when I was about 13 years old. I would take care of my neighbors, 6-year-old twins and 2-year-old girl, and help their mom around the house. I continued to babysit into high school and in college. When I turned 15 I became a camp counselor for children ages 3-5 for about two years. For another two years I was entrusted with my own group of campers ages 6-10. I then moved on to work at an overnight camp, and still currently work there over the summers. I have been a counselor for kids ages 5-16 at both the overnight and day camp parts of the camp! During the school year I am a teacher assistant at a preschool near campus. I work in classrooms with children ages, 6 weeks to 3 years and 3-5-year-olds!
