About Shelby

I'd describe my personality as Mary Poppins, full of grit and compassionate. Working with kids is incredibly rewarding. I genuinely have an instinctual talent when it comes to kiddos. I feel like a success when they feel like a success. I'm looking for a secondary job that gives me the financial capability to pursue my career of working with kids. I've always been the babysitter of my family. Even as one of the younger ones I was always put in charge. I officially started getting paid in money and not candy when I was 16. I've continued to be called on for babysitting jobs since then. This also included subbing for an in-home daycare with up to six kids under five at one time. I currently work as a registered behavioral technician (RBT). In my spare time, I like to craft, cook and stay active. I grew up from very humble beginnings and believe good work ethic and competency gets you far. My skills include creativity, positivity and respect.
