I have been babysitting and working with children since I was in high school. In undergrad, I tutored multiple subjects and age groups, provided child care for refugee parents during classes, and helped with my Campus Minister's children. I also was an Arts and Crafts instructor at Camp Stanislaus for 3 summers (and head counselor for 1 year), where I was loved by my ability to remember names, ask silly questions every day, play cool music, and make a mean friendship bracelet. During my year in post-grad service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Syracuse, New York, I run an after school program for refugee children, where I focus on programming (Arts and Crafts, Science, Gym games, ENL games, etc) and tutoring. I am now a Graduate Assistant and Resident Minister at John Carroll University while obtaining my Master's in Education for School Counseling.

Shelby is professional, loving, caring and fun. She brings a lot of energy every time she is with my kids. They end up talking about her for days after she babysits.
