About Shelby

Hello! I am an experienced nanny currently enrolled at West Chester University. My experience includes working with children on the autism spectrum, curating fun activities away from screens, helping around the house, cooking meals & homework help. For 6 years I have been taking on babysitting gigs. I have worked full-time with one family with a child on the autism spectrum. We had many epic adventures, and many quarrels over worksheets and math. But the most rewarding aspect I always find to be seeing the emotional growth and change in the time that I worked with them. The family that I had been working with for a while recently moved away in early November. I am looking for odd-jobs until I find my next long-term family. A little about me: I have a fiancée named Ben, a dog named Ranger, and two cats named Chester and Mango. I have a car and a car-seat that I am willing to use for our many adventures, and I look forward to our future engagements!
