About Sheridan

Hello, my name is Sheridan, and I am a rising sophomore at the University of Notre Dame. I have developed strong tutoring skills through various experiences, working with a diverse range of students. At the Westlake High Writing Center, I have assisted students just a year or two younger than me, helping them refine their writing skills. Additionally, while attending college, I have volunteered at underprivileged schools in the South Bend community, working with students significantly younger and different from myself. Through these experiences, I have learned the best ways to be effective both as a tutor and as a student. I am always eager to pass these skills on, believing strongly in the importance of patience and employing different strategies to ensure each tuttee understands the material thoroughly. I strive to create a supportive and adaptable tutoring environment where every student can succeed.
