About Sherri

I am a mom of four ages 21, 14, 8, 7. I presently work as a children's pastor for a church in Cranford, NJ. I have been at this job for 4. 5 years. In this position I am responsible for planning and leading all children's programs for children ages newborn to 12 years, teaching curriculum, coordinating volunteers, and providing pastoral care to families and volunteers. I previously worked as a teacher's assistant in a school for the deaf for 6 years. In that time I have had the chance to work with children from ages preschool to high school age. I also gained experience working with special needs children. As a teacher's assistant my job requirements consisted of supporting the lead teacher in daily classroom lessons, maintaining and organizing the classroom, assisting students one-on-one as well as a small class with daily activities. I also have many years experience working in the nursery and working with infants in my previous church.
