While I've not had years of paid experience in this type of position I am a dog and cat owner currently and have been since birth. I have owned horses in the past as well as birds, fish and other small mammals. Honestly, I think I care more for animals than other grown adults ; o). My pets are like my children so I completely understand the love between an animal and their human. I have volunteered countless hours with different animal rescues and have done some fostering as well.
