BLS certified. I will be testing for state CNA certification in August 2022. After working as an aide in an assisted living facility I have realized how much more joy I can bring to clients when I can give them one on one care. My favorite thing is to spend time with them and give them a caring ear. Of course I can assist with ADLs and handle their daily routines including elimination and feeding but I hope to offer much needed companionship as well. Particularly with the elderly, I happen to share similar hobbies and interests so things like reading, puzzles, and all sorts of crafts bring me just as much joy. My degree is in computer science so I can also help them to navigate technology as it is constantly evolving.
