About Sierra

Hi, my name is Sierra. I'm 21 years old and just graduated from Syracuse University with degrees in psychology and journalism. Through my psychology education, I was able to learn about child psychology and development. I hope to use this knowledge in a future career working with children. As the middle of 5 kids, I began. babysitting my siblings at an early age. In my teenage years, I did many date-night babysitting jobs, mostly for 1-3 children ages 1-6. Additionally, I worked at Kids First Swim Schools for around 5 years. As an instructor, I taught classes for children age 3 months - 16 years old. These classes varied from individual to group classes of up to 5 children. Through this job, I had the opportunity to work with children with disabilities and formulate techniques for communicating with and teaching kids. During Covid, I also worked as a "mother's helper" for two children while their parents worked from home. Please let me know if you have any questions!
