About Silvia

My name is Silvia and I'm 34 years old and a mom of two. I have a passion for caring for people. For many years I use to work at a boarding care facility where I cared for many different type of people with different needs. My duties included preparing meals, bathing, activities and making sure clients took their medication. After three years of working there I went on to work more one on one with clients for a company called Silverado. Being one on one provided me with being able to give each client special attention. I would take them to run errands, I would do light cleaning around their home and help the client with bathing and getting dressed for the day. I am able to transfer people from the bed to the wheelchair as well. I had a client that I worked with dementia for four years and I grew to love her dearly and was with her till she passed in 2020. At the moment I only have one or two days of availability since I am my children's primary caregiver as well.
