About Simone

While pursuing my bachelor's degree at Nova Southeastern University, I worked as a math tutor for America Reads/Counts, a Federal Work-Study program. The goal of this program is to help elementary school students increase their confidence and enjoyment of mathematics while ensuring each student was on grade level. After returning home to Maryland, I earned her bachelor's degree in psychology with a focus in child behavior modification from Stevenson University. I then went on to pursue my post-baccalaureate in Speech Language Pathology at Loyola University. More recently, I worked at Goldsmith Early Childhood Education Center with children ages 2-5. After, I exited corporate America to work as an independent contractor as an online educational company teaching ESL to students in China, virtually. My passion lies in helping children find their own love of learning through guidance, patience, and motivation. I strive to get children to reach that "aha" moment!
