About Sondra

I have been teaching for 25 years in the public school system in New Jersey. I have a bs in physics I have a 29-year-old successful son who also tutors statistics. I also do standup comedy on the side for adult birthday parties, fundraisers, retirement parties, senior citizen orgs, private interest groups and women's clubs and corporate events. I'd describe my personality as enthusiastic, intellectual, pragmatic I'm looking for a job that allows time flexibility. I started tutoring when while I was working on my bs in physics. Fellow students and parents approached me to tutor. In my spare time, I like to write and do standup comedy. One thing you should know about me is that it is that it is important for the student to feel comfortable with the tutor. My skills include: understanding student's needs. Maintaining a professional relationship with parents and students. Researching supplemental material to help students.
