About Sophia

My name is Sophie and I am going on my 5th year of professional experience related to children. I am recently back on this site looking for a part time position for the summer. I started nannying back in 2013 for a family friend. I graduated from high school in 2015, and continued my education to get a Bachelor Degree in Psychology. My first two years out of undergrad, I worked as an Elementary Special Education Paraprofessional for both an in person and an online school. Through that experience, I have learned to work with children with varying levels of functionality, interests, and ages. I have continued nannying for the past 3 years, for two separate families. It is my goal to be both fun and educational when it comes to working with children. I want to ensure that the things that we do together are both intellectually and developmentally stimulating. I also want the children I work with to see that learning can be fun and can be catered to their individual interests by me.
